Meet our team

Julian is a talented technician, who brings a background in aviation mechanics to the shop. Changing careers to get some much needed stability was what brought him to us as a humble apprentice, and we’re so thrilled to have him on our team.

Henry is precisely who you think of when you look for “a great mechanic”. But he’s far more than a knuckle-buster, he has an incredible depth of knowledge on both modern and antique vehicles. Henry knows more than anyone else about proper “old school” tech and is a propane master from our time performing hundreds of conversions.

Austin is a new team addition, and he he brings with him a keen eye for the automotive and ambition only the young have. Austin is our newest team member, with his eyes set directly on starting his Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship as soon as he can.

AJ is one of our newest team members, but he’s been working in the trade for almost 20 years. AJ’s primary experience has been with Volkswagen as a top certified technician, but he’s got an incredible gift and talent for practically applying that experience to ALL makes and models.

Gregg is one of our top diagnosticians, with a depth of knowledge rivalling the best auto technicians, and being Lethbridge’s first of two technicians to be Nexdrive certified to diagnose and repair EV’s. While striking an imposing figure, Gregg is empathetic and kind guy and has been trained EXTENSIVELY on everything automotive. Gregg has worked on everything from Smart cars to school busses, and we’re incredibly lucky to work together.

Mike is our new Service Manager, joining us from Lethbridge Volkswagen. Having transitioned away from the flat-rate world of the dealerships, he’s now helping us keep a laser focus on customer service, and we’ve been absolutely SHOCKED at how many people have sought him out specifically because they know how much he cares.

Sarah is our newest service advisor, making the transition away from parts sales. Sarah has her red-seal in parts, and it’s clear that she has a keen eye for finding difficult components for even the most rare vehicles, OR finding the absolute best value for our customers. Sarah is also deeply involved with Lethbridge’s Street Machine Weekend, and truly has a deep love of everything “car culture”.

Hannah is new to the shop, but she is an expert in customer service. It was clear from her interviews that she was extremely in tune with looking after people which absolutely aligns with our philosophy of bringing the absolute top service in Lethbridge. Hannah is in training to become a full service advisor, is starting her apprenticeship as a red-seal parts technician, and a perfect fit in our shop culture.

It’s hard writing a paragraph for yourself. But I’ll try. Subway Auto Service is my family’s business, and I’m purchasing the business from my dad (he’s next on the list). This shop has been my professional home since I left high school, I’m a red seal auto technician, the second of the first Lethbridge NexDrive certified technicians, and if you’ve worked with us at all in the past 15+ years you’ve likely worked with me in some capacity. My hope is that anyone looking to find honest auto repair you’ll find us here at Subway Auto and feel like we are a team that you can work with long term. Whether you’re a student, professional, stay-at-home parent, fleet manager, retiree… I just want people to be cared for. Look forward to working with you.

Bruce is the owner of the business, but he also bought the business from his dad, way back in the 80’s. Check our history page for more details, but dad is a licensed technician, propane installer and certified propane inspection technician. If you’ve had the pleasure of working with Bruce, you’ll know how focused he is on getting a great outcome; whether that’s tackling the toughest problems, finding the hardest parts, or finding the best value. Dad is working towards his retirement, but I’m not sure he’ll ever truly leave the shop (to our immense benefit).
